Dr. Katrina Zhao is our Principal Dental Surgeon and founder of Midas Dental and the Clinical Leader of the entire clinical Team. She is focused on providing full-mouth rehab solutions to her patients in a kind, attentive and gentle manner and is a skilled surgeon in the area of All-on-4 Dental Implants having completed Advanced Cadaver Training under Dr Larry Benge and lectures by Paulo Malo the inventor of All-on-4. Dr Zhao is one of the only female All-on-4 Surgeons in Australia. She is an alumni of Adelaide University’s prestigious Bachelor of Dental Surgery.
Dr Zhao has a passion for surgery and has the extensive experience in providing All-on-4 Dental Implants, Dental Implants and Wisdom Teeth removal surgeries as well as bone grafting and sinus lift procedures and soft tissue grafting procedures. She has completed many years of training in implants and surgery and brings a wealth of knowledge to the team in utilising the latest dental technology to create the safest and most accurate placement of implants.
She has also performed thousands of smile transformations by way of crowns, bridges and porcelain veneers and utilises these in combination as well as Digital Smile Design principles to create the most ideal facial-aesthetically driven cosmetic dentistry result for her patients. She leads the team of cosmetic dentists and provides them with mentorship in regard to obtaining the highest level of aesthetics.
Dr Zhao has also straightened thousands of teeth with Invisalign and is a Platinum Provider with Invisalign a tribute to the excellent results she has obtained for her patients through orthodontic treatment with Invisalign aligners.

In her spare time, Dr Zhao enjoys freediving, jetski riding and target shooting and also spends time on walks with her German Shepherd and Golden Retriever.
